I just didn’t enjoy it or any of the characters as much as BMW. I wrote it off as a typical Disney teen show and didn’t give it much thought after the fact. Fannie Farkle's Family Fun Parlor See all things to do Fannie Farkle's Family Fun Parlor 4. Of course, I only watched the show once and it was ok. Even farkle’s development seemed more natural. She was kind and sweet and naive and she would do the odd mature thing but then suddenly she was an entirely different person. With Riley I felt like they didn’t let her grow naturally. Each episode something happened and it changed their starry eyed wonderment just a little. She was definitely a mashup of Cory and Eric. I think it’s because she felt to lack the grounding aspects that her predecessors had. Or the episode with Farkle being tested for Asperger’s i felt was handled rather poorly but that’s likely coming from a background in psychology and working with people on the spectrum.Īs for Riley specific hate. It didn’t have the same feel as BMW and a lot of things felt more forced. Fannie Farkles is a restaurant and arcade in downtown Gatlinburg with food to go or to eat in, including its famous, foot-long corn dogs that some people. And the love triangle thing that sort of became multiple love triangles (mountain trip). For myself, I didn’t like that they had the kids looking very mature (seriously, what 14 year old wears high heels everyday), dealing with somewhat mature themes, but acting so wildly childish while doing it and having everything work out just fine. I think it was because they Disneyfied it too much. I watched GMW the first time through and didn’t enjoy it very much but I finished it. Since getting Disney+ I think I’ve watched it 3 times.
